Catchphrase is a game usually played by two teams. Each team member takes turns trying to describe the "catchphrase" without giving obvious hints (number of letters, rhymes with..., starts with the letter...., etc.). After any teammate guesses the phrase, the device is passed on to the next team. This process continues until the timer runs out. Once time runs out, the team in the midst of guessing loses the round and the other team gets a point. The winning team then gets an opportunity to guess the word in progress. If they correctly guess it, they are given a bonus point. The losing team then gets a new "catchphrase" to describe and the timer is reset. This process continues until a team reaches 7 points.
