The iDoDebate application utilizes Mathematica text processing functions to create an offline database of paradigms for judges that judge competitive high school debate. Through the use of the import function, the iDoDebate application creates a word document, and then stores each paradigm and title in a consistent format, using text processing functions to account for variations in the coding of each HTML page. It then allows the user to input a name, and parses the word document, outputting every paradigm in which the name is present. Doing so thereby allows the user to look at the paradigm of their judge even when they do not have internet access, which is often unavailable at debate tournaments.
