This is a graphical demonstration of an engineering report done in AP Physics C. There is a small propeller airplane (represented by the sphere) that is hanging from a string attached to the ceiling. As the airplane picks up speed, the radius of its revolution increases, and its elevation increases. The tension force in the string remains constant, and the airplane’s velocity increases to complete the revolution in the 1.54 seconds that it took in the real demonstration.
